Using www.box.com account
I have created a box account and shared it with my e-learning teacher. I have used the box account to store and manage some of my e-resources.
This is my main folder for this course which holders all subsequent folders and resources
My main folder currently has two main folders, one for my e-resources and the other for screen dumps pictures etc. Finally my assignment checklist is stored at this level
Below are two screen dumps (created through using the snipit tool) of some of the resources etc I have stored in my box account
Twitter - Jamal Edwards visit
After being baffled by Twitter I finally was able to use it for the first time when Jamal Edwards a successful young entreprenuer (ex-student) came to talk to students at the college.
Here is the link to my Twitter feed and evidence of my first few tweets. Many of the students were from our level 2 and level 3 business groups. They asked Jamal lots of questions but I managed to capture only some of his replies...
Using the timer from ClassTools.net.com
Using the ClassTools.net 'timer' tool.
I would select the Avengers theme for this timer tool. As this resource has both visual and audio elements it will enable all students in mainstream education to access this tool
Using Random name generator from ClassTools.net
Random name generator
I have created a random name generator for my tutor group. I will use this in class and during tutorials to select learners. This resource will enable me to ensure that all students are able to participate in class especially if I use the facility to remove names after they have been used.
The Dustbin game - from ClassTools.net
I have created this short dustbin game for my L3 marketing class. This resource can be used as a resource for checking of learning or for learners to assess themselves independently. This could also be used as a whole class activity. This resource is also accessible to most learners whether they are at home or in the class as it can be accessed from most devices with internet connection. Learners who have physical impairments could 'buddy up' with another learner who could perform the key strokes for them.
Using Fishbone from ClassTools.net
Using ClassTools.net Interactive resources
I have used Fishbone from ClassTools.net to create a resources which can be used with my level 3 marketing class. This resource could be used as a recap tool or a tool to facilitate checking of learning.
Using Dvolver - 'Prices'
Here is the link to my short film using Dvolver.com.

My second audioboo recording
Using podcast with resources such as audio boo can be very useful for use with students as it improves accessibility for learners making any-time any-place learning possible. These casts can be sent directly to learners, placed on Schemes of Work or the website link sent directly to learners.
My first audio recording using audio boo
This is my very short introductory audio recording using http://audioboo.fm
Third video recorded tonight using our mobile phones and the flip camera
Video 3/3 - Recorded with Clare and Johnan. This video link was sent to me by Johnan who trimmed the beginning.

More E-resources used this week
Here are 2 simple worksheets I made that incorporated the cartoon storyboards I created two weeks ago.
E-resources used from this week's lesson
Today I have used 3 of the e-resources we have covered in the course.
1. Quizlet.com
I used this resource twice this week. Firstly, I used the resource we made in class the following day. My previous blog shows this and today I created a new resource which students used in class today. I also introduced 2 teachers to this resource!
This resource was to support my unit 9 - Creative Product Promotion. Students enjoyed it, were engaged and learnt something independently, wow!
2. Shared a spreadsheet document with 2 other colleagues. Instead of emailing the spreadsheet to both members of staff I simply shared the document and asked them to update it. In addition I also suggested it to my students who were working in teams today!
3. Snipit tool - I used the Snip it tool to capture a picture of the email I send of my shared document.

Using Storyboard
I created this comic strip to support a marketing lesson where I will be looking at the laws which constrict marketing. I try not to teach the laws and encourage students to identify which laws relate to different scenarios. Here is an example

Pinterest - Craft ideas for the Fundraising event on 10th December 2013
I run two level 3 Innovation and Enterprise classes. We have been looking at creativity and innovation and are now working on a business idea that can be run alongside the course. I have created this Pinterest as a stimulus for a fundraising event we will be taking part in on 10th Dec 2013. I will invite the students to add to it if they find anything they find interesting.
Found it!
I have finally found the correct blogger account. I probably need to go back and link some of the resources I have been using to this account, happy reading!
Using some online resources
This is an animated video I created by using Animoto. Animoto has a smartphone app
